We are seeking a 1 to 2-years + experience veterinarian. Work with a compassionate and driven team utilizing state-of-the-art veterinary equipment to improve the health of dogs and cats.
Job Description Summary:
The ideal candidate works in cooperation with the Operations Manager and Medical Director. They will have a commitment to high quality care, energy, a passion for helping animals and work well in a fast-paced environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Examine, diagnose and formulate treatment plans for patients.
• Perform surgeries including soft tissue and dentistry.
• Advise clients about general care, medical conditions and treatments.
• Other duties as requested by the Medical Director.
Skills and Basic Qualifications
• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, or equivalent, from an accredited university.
• Licensure in good standing to practice in the State of California.
• Commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics.
• Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Makes decisions confidently and effectively.
• Manages time and tasks appropriately.
• Models a professional and courteous manner with staff and clients.
• Ability to work well with team members.
• Be comfortable with most soft tissue surgeries and routine dental procedures.
1-2 years’ experience
