WHO WE ARE, WHAT WE DO AND HOW WE DO IT: Leave No Paws Behind, Inc. is a 501 (c) 3 (EIN 45-2717681) non profit corporation governed by the laws of the State of California. LNPB does not have a facility, we are an all breed, all foster based rescue, specializing in rescuing seniors, terminal and end of life animals, and animals with special medical needs and younger dogs who are at risk of euthanasia from So Ca High Kill shelters. When possible we step up, most times in the "11th" hour when all hope is gone, to help save the lives of those that are in most danger of being left behind to die on a cold shelter floor.
As we entered our 9th year we were so excited to be able to announce that LNPB expanded our mission with our newest program “ LNPB People, Helping People, Helping Paws “ in an effort to keep pets out of the shelters and in their homes by offering excellent, low cost medical care with the opening of the LNPB Low Cost Veterinary Clinic.

LNPB's senior and core program and mission provides hospice care, comfort, love and a safe haven for the terminally ill and the hard core cases and upon rescue we immediately have all of our animals vetted. LNPB never determines the outcome or diagnosis, and relies on our skilled, trained and excellent DVM's. Those with minor and treatable medical needs and disabilities per diagnosis from the Doctor's are placed in the loving care of fosters until they are adopted. LNPB's more serious medically challenged rescues, such as seniors who may suffer with terminal and/or severe mobility medical conditions as diagnosed by the Doctor's, are placed in loving hospice/long term forever foster care for as long as needed. You provide the love, we provide the medical as we never want our sweet seniors to know the inside of a shelter again due to lack of medical funds for care.
Young and old, we are their voice and we will continue saving lives one paw at a time as we make every effort to assure we Leave No Paws Behind because we believe, no matter what, their life matters. LNPB relies solely on public donations, no amount is too small and all amounts benefit the health and welfare of abused and abandoned animals and are tax deductible.
